Yet to ID engine but pretty sure '37 pu. Bell housing 3 codes... "25" below is *E98* and below that "78" Just picked up in old shed and there at least 12 years. Old truck cab, chassis, wheels all discarded or deteriorated along the way RayB

The first thing to check is that it has 21 head studs and the water pumps are on the front of the engine and not on the heads. If it passes these tests it is probably the correct engine.
