I recently purchased a 1941 Ford truck with a stock six cylinder flathead and standard three speed transmission. My question I need to tow the vehicle about 200 miles and need to know if a tow dolley , front two wheels off the ground will be ok and not damage the transmission. Thanks..

closed driveshaft- just need to check that the trans and rear end are full 3/4 ton and up just disconnect the driveshaft

This sounds obvious but make sure the transmission is in neutral before starting the journey!
