I have a 52 F1 that has the straight six in it right now but I will be buying a 302 or 351 with the automatic shortly. So I was wondering where to buy the motor mounts for that. Also I would like to lower the truck about 4 inches all around so where would I buy a good lowering kit? I want to keep it looking close to original but make it fast as my 50 crestliner is being built with the flathead and a 5 speed. Thanks for the help

I agree with Bob on using parts from Chassis Engineering. I did exactly what you are doing for a friend on his 52 F-1. I used their bolt-in Mustang II suspension, their center crossmember, the power brake set-up, etc. Good instructions and good help when you have a problem. You might also start looking for a newer rearend for your truck. You can use the 57-71 Ford pickup 9 inch rear that will bolt onto your stock rear springs. You can find the ratio that will work with your automatic trans.
