Have removed the entire top and bottom grills from my '47 for a maintenance project and noticed the bottom grills can be oriented as I removed them from the car, or can be flipped over 180 degrees and installed inverted. Not knowing whether or not these were ever removed by the original owner am curious as to what is the correct orientation before reinstalling. The center two bars of the grill are thicker on the bottom (or top - ?) so clearly the original intent was to have them oriented one way or the other (see pic). Can anyone advise what is correct - have not found any reference to this nor can I tell from internet images how these are intended to be oriented. Thanks in advance - Steve
