A friend of mine just acquired a 39 convertible. the door glass and frames are missing. He has been told that they are Mercury parts only.. ? 39 Ford won't work? anyone have some spares?

I believe that the window frames are unique to the 39 Mercury. You will have to advertise for them. Try the classified section of this site, the Ford Barn and AACA. I would also try the HAMB and Hemmings. Tom
