I am looking for information on where I can find a drawing of the 39 Mercury Tailight assembly. I have misplaced the pictures I took before disassembly and need information on how the socket and brackets mount inside the housing. Thanks

The best drawing that I could find is in the 1939 thru 1948 Mercury Chassis Parts Catalog on page 154. The Ford and Mercury Chassis Parts catalogs from 1940-1942 have a smaller drawing. My scanner is not working at this time, so I cannot scan it for you. Tom

Thanks Tom, I located a Catalog on Ebay and I think it will come in handy for this and other issues as I try to remember how to put the Merc back together. By the way I got the wiring harness problem figured out and now I have current to all of the lights and horn. We found that the Fusible Link was by passed at some point. I repaired the Link terminals and the rubber mounting pad. Once that is hooked up everything works.
