Do a search on this forum for '47 hood attachment' and username 'len47merc'. I posted these hinge pics back in April. My '47 Merc is a very early '47 and will be identical to a '46. These should work for you - if not let me know what you need beyond these and I will try to add to those photos. Steve

If you can locate a copy of the V-8 Times from May/June 2009 there is an article on how to align the hood. It can be a real pain.
