Owners manual says 650-15. No longer available. What is the correct size now?

Coker and others show 650-15s as still being available in blackwalls when going through a brief search this morning (limited brand selection but they do show as available). For whitewalls you may have to move to 670s, 710s or some other similar size by each particular brand. If you go this latter route, check your diameters to ensure wheel well clearance when at full turn right or left - the 710s with 3 1/4" whitewalls on my '47 produce a very minor and brief pie-plate ribbing rub when backing at full turn.

Another bit of information is that there is serious doubt that any 46 Ford or Mercury car were delivered from the factory with white wall tires.

  I'm using Coker's Firestone 7:10x15 tire.
Height wise a good match, tread a good match, profile, 7:10 is a little "fatter", nothing to worry about.
