Have you placed an ad in the classified section of this site and on the Ford Barn? Also try Hemmings. Parts for the 39 and 40 Mercury are hard to come by. Tom

I needed a rear bumper and both guards when an idiot rear ended my '47. None of our usual sources had them, or knew where to look. I saw an ad for the "Bumper Boyz"' and gave them a try. They had everything I needed, and the plating was excellent. They were not cheap, but with the prominent parts, it was right. They have a web site
