Does any one have knowledge of where to get new running boards for my 41 4dr merc. Its possible to rebuild my old ones but, with great deal of work and expense.

The 41 Ford and Mercury running boards are the same. You can look for a good used set or buy the 42-48 boards and modify them. IMHO you would be better off with a good used set. http://www.vintagepartsclub.com/servlet/the-10964/Ford-Running-Boards-Pass./Detail I suggest Hunley Aucuff for the covers. He molds a new cover onto your boards and they look much better than the glued on covers. Tom
