  new member and recently acquired a 4 dr, 41 merc. (it is complete and drivable. Even with the jack and jack tools. However, I do have a rust control problem and a cracked left front parking light. any one know when I can get a new lense. Thanks.

  Is the lens the same as the ones used on 1941 Fords? If so it should be available from many of the Ford vendors.

  There were 2 different parking lights used on the 41 Mercury. The early one was unique to the Mercury and the later one was shared with the Ford.

If you have the 2 piece front fenders and the starter button is on the dash, you should have the same parking lights as Ford. If your starter button is on the steering column lock and you have 3 piece fenders, you have the Mercury parking lights. Any other combination and you could have either.

Your best bet for the Mercury lens, is to place a wanted ad in the Classified section of this site and also on the Ford Barn Swap Meet section. Keep both ads active as it may take a long time to find one.
