Can anyone tell me where I can buy the clips (or retainers) that fasten the "MERCURY" letters to the hood? Thanks guys.(and/or gals)

Thanks for the info. C&G could not help, or could any of the many vendors and the local hardware said he has never seen such a retainer. These fit over oblong post that measure (approx.)1/8"W X 3/8"H x 1/4"D -Ever see such a retainer?? Odd sucker, to say the least. Mercury part #355873-S32 - I need 10 of them. Thanks again folks.

Thanks for the info Tom. I looked on the link you had given me and they show 2115 fastners,non of which look like what I need. I will call them in the AM and maybe they can give me lead or have something that will work.Thanks for the picture with the measurements and all your help. Clem

Clem, There are many suppliers of clips, so if you strike out on the link that I gave you,try another supplier. If all else fails try a 3/8" speed nut on the larger dimension of the pin. You should also contact the Club's 49-51 Adviser to see if he has a solution. Tom
