Greetings 1940 Mercury owners: I am restoring a 40 sedan coupe. I have learned a lot the hard way, and lots more to learn. I am interested in corresponding with any other 40 Mercury owners, especially anyone with a sedan coupe. Thanks, Alan

Hi Alan and welcome to the Forum. I have had my 40 Sedan Coupe since the mid 1970's and have enjoyed driving it for most of those years. I will be glad to assist you with any questions that you might have. I also suggest that you become a member of the Early Ford V-8 Club and a regional Group of the Club. Tom

HI Tom: Thanks for the reply. Nice looking sedan coupe. I am a member of EFV8, and my local chapter. I live about 35 miles from the 40 Merc advisor as well. Nice to hear from you, always lots to learn. I will be posting for some sources for those hard to come by pieces. Thanks, Alan
