I'm attaching an image of 2 parts that were dismantled in conjunction with among others an inspection of the steering box. Can anyone help me identify these? Have forgotten where these should be mounted? I seem to recall that these were mounted around the steering column going through the floor board, but can't figure out the smallest part? Thanks, Peder

Peder, it is always a good idea to photograph everything before and during disassembly.

I am going to guess at the position of the 2 pieces, based on the description in the parts catalog.

The long piece P/N 11A-7001748 goes below the steering column to support the floor board. The smaller part, P/N 19A-7012155 goes above the steering column to support the rubber seal.

If I am incorrect, maybe someone with a 41-48 Mercury will correct me.

Tom
