Check with a company called Chassis Engineering. They make (or made) a bolt-in kit for the Fords and Mercs. Be aware that when installed it covers up the frame ID number. The Merc's extra long wheel base make them ride as good as any aftermarket front end. If your goal is to lower the car go with a dropped axle. Much easier to do and can be undone by a future buyer.
