Just finished installing a Vintage Air unit into my 47 Mercury coupe. Wife will now ride with me. She also wanted seat belts. Installation took about a week. My local Napa store where I work part time made up all the hoses.Vintage air doesn't make an installation kit for this car so laying out all the components take a little time. Air/heat/defrosters work great. I wish I would have installed electric wipers before I installed the unit under the dash. Other changes I made for the A/C.... 1. Generator to alternator. 2. Changed over to 12V. 3. Went to electronic ignition. 4. Switched original radio to FM tuner. I have a shop at my home where I work on cars 1903 thru 1980.
