Topic: Lincoln Driving Lights

My 1951 Mercury CV came factory equipped with clear lens driving lights fitted to the bumper...the lights had Lincoln stamped on the top outer case. In the rebuild process we lost or threw away the box they were stored in.

Does anyone know if the Lincoln lights were 5" or 6 "
diameter ?

Unity Mfg does not know either but they have a 6 volt replacement. Any help on this would be sincerely appreciated .

Thanks

  Tracker,

Try the Lincoln Mercury Old Parts store. They list one reproduction fog light on their website.

Thanks for the lead...I did contact this company and the lady was very helpful. Still have not determined what she has yet but the pics look like Unity lamps & bases.

Still looking for the answer as to whether or not the original amps were 5" or 6" diameter...used from 1949-1951 Lincoln and Mercury add on accessory.

Thanks again.

Tom ...thanks for the leads on the driving lights.

I decided to go with 5 " Unity lights and a NOS pair of bases.

I could not find a NOS set of Lincoln driving lights anywhere, Still interested if any one on this forum has a set stamped Lincoln. Thanks again.

It is too bad that you cannot find the original lights. They look so much better than the unity replacements.
