what did this come off of,, 40,,41 pickup ,,39 deluxe ??????? iwill post pictures.. it has folded lip where the hinges mount like my 40 convert. no battery cut out ,,when did they stop doing that???

just check a 40 dash against a 39 and the 39 has all the right bolt holes ,, does that make it a 39 deluxe or a 40 std??????

Hi, My observations versus a 40 are: no cut out for the ram air heater, the holes for the throttle and choke are too high and no bolt holes for the mounting of a wiper motor, no cut out at the lower right portion for the steering tube and that "X" strength part is just an angle top left to bottom right on a 40. So a probable pre 40 piece.

In addition to Ken's comments there are no holes for the wiper towers. It's pre '40. Probably '39. The cutout for the battery was used up to '39 , but on the '39 standard only. This appears to be a 39 deluxe. This message was edited by trjford8 on 8-22-15 @ 6:09 AM
