Hi Mike, My original interior insulation is pretty much HAD. Any tips, recommendation on the interior door (and other areas) for satisfactory replacement. Seems like that there are a lot of choices/materials. Thanks Ken

I have found that for sound deadening and cost effectiveness, nothing beats plain ol' foil lined "bubble wrap" available at all building supply stores. For about $30 or so you can do the entire car. Roof, doors, quarters, etc.
That stuff Eastwood sells that has it's own "glue" is very easy to use but the cost is ridiculous in my opinion. I buy the stuff I have described in large rolls. I prefer the stuff that is two feet wide.
The picture attached herein is one door I had recently installed the insulation. Over this I do tape on a sheet of 4 mil plastic as a moisture barrier to the door panel.

What type of adhesive is best to use when installing the bubble wrap insulation?

I prefer 3M contact adhesive. It can be brushed or sprayed on...
