Hello again, Is the correct finish for the hose clamp nuts S-2, or S-7? Also, does the fan belt need to be dyed brown for point judging? My fan belt has the Ford logo and part number molded in, and is black. Thanks, Bob Scales

Although the clubs current '40 book states the nuts were S2, they were actually S7. Belt color? There seems to be a lot of opinions on this but no resounding proof one way or another. I'd prefer to see the belt black / gray.

Thanks. I'll leave it black. Good to hear because I did not want to dye this belt, and run a chance of damaging it or shortening the life.
