what is the color paint used on 1940 seat brackets? I'm looking specifically for Sedan Delivery, but I'm thinking other 1940's would be the same? do any of the suppliers sell this paint? Thanks, Don

The brackets and frame (bottom) on passenger car seats were cadmium plated. Not certain if the sedan delivery would be the same. I would hazard a guess and say "no". Most likely they were painted and most likely black.
