were all Garnish moldings (windshield, doors)on 1940 Coupe and Sedan's woodgrained?
Did the standards have Walnut and the deluxe have Mahagony woodgraining?
Were the Sedan Delivery garnish moldings woodgrained?
How was the wood behind the seats of a Sedan Delivery painted? (body color?)
On a Sedan Delivery were the wood pieces along the outer side next to the gas tank and on the opposite side of the car attached (scr*w*d) to the floor pan before it was installed? (can't see how to get them out)
Is there a garnish molding on the rear window of a 1940 Sedan Delivery?
Is there a diagram some where that shows the original holes in the 1940 firewall?

All of the window garnish moldings on 1940 passenger cars were wood grained.
For the Ford V8 "grained bleached walnut finish"
For the Deluxe Ford V8 "grained dark mahogany finish"
The 112" panel has the same features as the Ford V8, including the front end.
The 112" Sedan Delivery has the features of the Ford Deluxe Passenger car, including the front end.
I can not answer some of your questions and suggest you contact the V8 Times adviser for commercial vehicles. I am not aware of a diagram for the holes in the 40 Ford firewall, at this time.

Don, you might want to contact Glen Davis in Santa Barbara, Ca. Glen has a sedan delivery and can probably help. He's listed in the V-8 Club roster.
