How was/is the two special top snaps on each trim piece(banna clips if you will) properly/correctly attached? My upholstery guy wants to use pop rivets. If someone could send a close up picture of one that has been done correctly would be very helpful. Thanks Eddie

There were two different designs of snaps in this area used in 1940. By your question, I will assume you have the type that utilize two small flat head (slotted type of course) screws to hold the clip to the body. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Yes sir, I have the ones that Dennis Carpenter sells. Is the front snap a stud type snap? Would the slotted screws be oval head like most of the ones Mr Ford used. Thank you for your input. Eddie

The screws are flat head in this area.
