I am restoring my '40 and 1 of the 4 shocks need to be topped up with "Genuine Ford Shock Absorber Fluid" Is there a current genaric description for what Ford used?

There were up to three different fluids used back in the late 30's to the mid 40's on Ford lever shocks. I have always used hydraulic jack fluid available at NAPA. I have yet to have a problem, after some 35+ years...
