1939 Ford Sedan Delivery body plate, the 662 Sedan Delivery body made at the Mfg. for 39. The body was not made at the Ford plant, it was shipped to the various Ford assembly plants for final assembly on the Ford chassis. This message was edited by 40 Coupe on 6-14-11 @ 4:23 AM

the usual location is the RH side of the firewall, on the engine side.

My 38 has the body plate on the extreme left side, at the top of the lower vertical portion of the firewall. If you look closely at your firewall, you should see the two holes where the rivets that attached it are.

went out to the barn , and with all the holes could not find two that linesd up, then i knocked box over and manage to break the plastic piece in the 48 hood ornament that i just bought.old cars are fun?????
