I been a Chev guy my whole life. But I’ve always loved the look and sound of a flathead. I waited almost three months to have my 40 shipped to Wisconsin. I like cars pretty much stock. I can’t believe how the prices have dropped on this generation of vehicles. This was a body off frame, restoration in the last few years. The previous owner put a H&H flathead in 200 miles ago. It isn’t perfect, but the paint is very nice, the interior is spotless, the underside is the cleanest vehicle I’ve ever owned. I couldn’t have done the interior and glass for what I have in this. I can’t wait for summer!! It came with a 1/2 inch of receipts in the trunk.

What a beauty! I had a 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor the same color. Sold it about 20 years ago, still don't know why.

"I can’t believe how the prices have dropped on this generation of vehicles. ...... I couldn’t have done the interior and glass for what I have in this." Yes, it's depressing that the market for our cars has dropped so much in recent years. But you represent the pleasant flip side to that. You were able to get a fantastic car at a great price, maybe unfordable a few years ago. You are the next generation caretaker to love and preserve that beautiful car. Congrats on your good fortune. Welcome to the club!
