Sorry that I did not read carefully your first about starting a new discussion when new information. I had "piggy-backed" my request for a picture of a 1940 Ford clock on a previously established discussion thread. Again, sorry, but I still would like a picture of a 1940 Ford clock is possible.

  there were three different clocks, the two mechanical appear much alike but the electric is very different.

  The V-8 Times had photos of the Ford an Mercury clocks in the May -June, 1989 issue, and I have scanned the pages. I have attached a copy of the Ford clocks pages. If you need more help in identifying the clock post a photo on the forum and if it is a Ford or Mercury clock, it will be quickly identified.
