  Acquired a 40 pickup project & prior owner cut hinge bolt heads off to remove door,wondered if the cab is threaded before I start drilling 12 rusty bolts out &damaging the threads.Appears to be 5/16 holes.Thanks Rick

  The door hinge screws originally used to mount the henges to the body were countersunk head 5/16" x 24 x 1"screws. They are available from Dennis Carpenter, Classic Auto Parts and other vendors listed to the left of this page under "Links".

  best to try lots of penetrating oil and maybe some heat grab with vice grips and gently turn.
