Have the original 50 psi oil pump rebuilt if you can't find a new original type of 50 psi pump. Do not use the later flathead 80 psi oil pump unless you modify the rear of the crankshaft and oil pan to allow use of the rope type rear crankshaft oil seal.

The original 1940 type of labyrinth oil seal will not handle the increased volume and pressure of the 80# pump. The result of using the 80# pump with the early type of rear main bearing seal will be a massive continuous oil leak!
