I found out today that there are 39 horizontal bars on each side of the cast portion of a 1940 Ford Deluxe grille... I took a Que-Tip and ran it between each of those (*!3%&*!) grille bars. The Vintique repro grille (which was somewhat "interesting" to install last year) actually has a smooth finish on the top and bottom of each grille bar, which was an unexpectedly nice touch. The touch-up paint was finished today, the fender skirts went back on, and I waxed everything (except for the areas where they touched up the paint today).
