Driver door sags 1/8" when I open it. Slop in the top hinge. What's the fix for this? Since both driver and passenger upper jamb hinge halves appear identical, would reversing them help the situation? Carl

Just try installing new door hinge pins to see if that fixes the problem.

Reverse the hinges? Um, no. A new hinge pin, as has been suggested is the only real way to progress. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

replace the door hinge pins--there are oversize pins available but the door will still be out of line-place a padded block of wood between lower hinges and gently close the door and kind of push it a little--check to see if this helps and do a little more if necessary

The hinge pin shows no discernable wear and measures .27 in. in diameter. In closing the door , the dovetail lifts it into perfect alignment with the back door. It's as though I have an undersized hinge pin by about .o3. Carl
