I received my brown coils back from Skip Haney the other day and installed one this morning! The engine does run noticeably better with the Skip Haney Coil (it had a repro Ford script coil on it up until now). Time to replace the rubber boots that go from the metal conduits to the distributor caps. Also time to clean the distributor and polish the caps so that they have the same finish as the new coil.

Correction: Skip Haney does NOT provide new coils. Skip Haney's rebuilt coils are BETTER than new. Alan
