Who or where have you guys been sourcing the reproduction batteries from....also is there a faux case that is Ford script and you put a 6 volt Optima inside???

  I got mine from here:

https://batterycentralmall.com/product/ford-antique-auto-battery-1940-1951-2hf-rr/

Not cheap, and it took a while to get it, but well worth it.

As I recall, it has an AGM battery inside. It is sealed, but if you open the three vent covers, you can see a separate/sealed battery inside with cables running to the external posts. When the battery inside dies eventually, I plan to remove the bottom of the case and swap it out.

They make these in six or twelve volts (or at least did when I purchased mine about a year and a half ago), so make sure you order the correct one.
