Noticed a switch on the right side of the interior of my “new-to-me” 40 business coupe. Looks all the world like it’s supposed to turn on and off an interior light. My interior is solid headliner with no clue on where a light used to be. Can someone please tell me if and where a light would have been? Thx Charlie

Yes the switch is to control the one interior light which is mounted in the center of the headliner about 3 to 4" from the rear window garnish molding. If you gently push the headliner upward you may feel the metal bracket for the light. The bracket has a hole for the light body.

Here are two photos, both coupes, albeit two different coupes. This should give you a great "look" of how the lamp was wired and ultimately installed. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
