Can anybody tell me if this is the proper horn for a 40 pickup? I purchased it on ebay and it was described as being an original 1939 to 1947 pickup/truck horn. When I removed the cover I saw that it had a Delco Remy stamp. Did Delco Remy make horns for Ford? Here are a few pics.

Ken, That horn looks similar but not quite correct. It could simply be the photograph. Occasionally, I find it difficult to make very good comparisons from photos. I have attached a photo of a concourse correct '40 PU horn, properly restored. I hope this helps. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
