I have found installing the early style to be a little tricky. Got the drivers side in through the back of the dash. The passenger side is very tire and will not drop in. Close but not quite. Before I go to the trouble of painting them and making a mess are there any suggestions ? Thanks Bob Buchanan 47hondomesa@gmail.com

The early style ash tray can be installed and removed from the front of the dash with the ash tray door open. Just pull it up and out or slide in and down.
