Topic: Hot Water Heater Shutoff Valve

The replacement for the original hot water heater valve causes a couple of issues. The replacement is shorter and changes the angles of the outlet. The spark plug wire raceway is now right in the way. Am going to look for a brass adapter that adds the inch I need. Any other suggestions?

If you want to use a Cockpit Controlled Heater Valve rather than having to turn a valve on and off under the hood, you might want to consider using this part from Moss Motors, Ltd. It is part number 635-375 and it includes some extra parts that you won't need. You may have to obtain or fabricate an adapter to get the threads required to screw into the cylinder head on the Flathead.
