I just pulled out the switch with key in it. Looks like a pin/set screw is supposed to hold it in. Appreciate any input on what I do to fix it. Dale

Often after someone has repaired the cylinder, they use a set screw to hold the cylinder in place. Look under the lock cylinder hole on the column drop to see if there is one, it may be loose. To put the cylinder back in the column drop, loosen the set screw, align the lock bolt inside the column drop to the rear of the cylinder then just push the cylinder back into place, align the key slot vertical with key teeth pointed up and tighten the set screw. Thank you, I see the hole for the set screw and have put the cylinder back in the correct orientation, I do not have the set screw. Does anyone know the part number for the screw, or an alternate method of securing the cylinder. Thanks Dale

Ford used a special pin to lock the cylinder in place, you can most likely get from Third Gen Auto in Tenn. If the hole has be tapped for a set screw go to your local hardware store and get a replacement about 1/4-3/8" long with the same thread as what was tapped into the column drop.
