Just put in new harness, the res unit and the ckt breaker are not marked as to which of their wires go to what terminal, does it matter? Also there is no wire for the heater switch and where does the switch go, it was in the cig lighter hole, want to put cig lighter back in so where does heater switch go ? thanks kurt

My convertible heater switch was in this hole where the pen is sticking through. My heater is at the shop being repaired. Pat’s 40 Ragtop

The circuit breaker wires and resister wires should be attached as shown in the attached Service Bulletin. The heater switch black wire goes to the ignition resister terminal that comes from the ignition switch, the black and red wire. Tom This message was edited by TomO on 6-15-21 @ 8:25 AM

Thanks guys, found the heater switch hole, now to find the right switch. Tom , that was the way the wires were when I took out the old harness out but the wire diagram showed them the other way, that's why I asked, put them back as org and your diagram and starts right up and NO SMOKE I'm happy. thanks kurt
