Years ago Roy Nacewicz recomended mixing Testors 1151 Copper & Testors 1144 Gold in a 50/50 mixture. That is what I have been using .

All it says is TESTORS GLOSS GOLD. There is but one number on the entire container: 2544 I've never seen a "gold" NOS battery so can't say for certain how closely this matches the authentic. Even if a NOS was available to inspect, I'd have to believe the paint would be severely degraded and useless for a "match donor". I have seen NOS "green" batteries.
