If you are wiling to mount the cigarette lighter in a small bracket beneath the instrument panel, contact NAPA for one. This message was edited by carcrazy on 1-18-21 @ 3:14 PM

I'll check to see if I may have one. Does it need to actually work?

The lighter elements do not change with the addition of a radio it is the well that changes, with the wire coming off the side instead of straight off the rear.

Well, yes, kind of... the receptacle for radio equipped cars is much shorter than non-radio cars. It is true the wire comes off the back of the receptacle at a 90° bend. Picture attached of concourse correct pieces for 1940 Ford passenger cars. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

After installing a radio in my '40, I ended up cutting down the length of the receptacle rendering the lighter useless but kept the look in front.

Excellent solution.
