I have a half missing set of presision measuring rods in a drill type index holder. Many are missing . Would like to buy a new set but don't know what they are called ?? There like a drill bit in different sizes about 6" long but do not cut. More for measuring holes I guess (diam), they run from like .020 to 1/8 " or so. ???? any body know what their called. ken ct 1-203-260-9780

Ken, They are called plug gauges. They are available in many different tolerances depending on the precision required. I am not certain what sets are available but these gauges are available in any diameter you would so desire. Try McMaster-Carr Mike "Kube" Kubarth
