Please, I do not speak English and I need your help. I live in Cuba and I bought a Dodge 49 with a motor I think is a Ford of the years 40-50. Please, here are some pictures, can you tell me the year of the engine ?. Thank you

Just from looking at the valve covers and the 4-bolt two-barrel Holley carburetor, I would say it is a Y-Block Ford or Mercury V-8 engine made from 1957 to 1962. If it is a truck engine, it could have been made as late as 1964.

Now I do not know which STARTER to buy ... because I am sure and certain that celuid that I found in the car is a Cuban adaptation for this engine.
