Can anyone please tell me if the original tail light bezels on a 1940 deluxe ford had an inscription engraved on them Duolamp ?

  Good Morning, Domenic---

See attached. I don't see a "DUOLAMP" inscription on the taillight bezel of my car. The bezel is a reproduction.

On page 2-11 of the OLD Restoration Manual, it states "The stainless steel chevron has DUOLAMP embossed in the metal". Most likely, my repro chevron is not correct.

Hey Mike, what does your NEW Restoration Manual research show on this issue?

  Domenic,
All authentic tail lamp bezels had 'DOULAMP' stamped in to the left side (as you looked at them on the car). You would have to be on the side of the car to actually be able to read the stamping.

Tom, Yes, this is covered
