All of the V8s I have come across have intake valves that are indented on top with the ford script and exhaust valves that are plain on top. any body have any idea why the difference. My parts book shows the same part # for both. Mac's catalog shows both types but makes no distinction between the two.

I always thought the script ones were exhaust ones but could also be used as intakes . I would also like to know ???? ken ct.
