I have owned this car for twenty years, beautiful interior could be Rouge judged . Originally a 60 hp car but engine was stuck and I replaced with a 59AB from a 1947 Mercury,engine equipped with 4 " Mercury crank. Interesting backround on this engine was removed from a near new 1947 Mercury wreck and stored since untill I bought in 2006 or so. Cam was a NOS 49-51 Mercury from Dan Krehbiel machined snout for original '37 distributor.Columbia two speed rear on '39 3:78 differential. 1939 hydraulic brakes and pedals.rebuilt low mileage '39 transmission. Ed Whitney alternator /generator 6 volt. 1939 Ford hot water heater.NOS radiator Genuine Ford was used. Rare Genuine Ford locking hood handle. Car always trophies some best of show ,some best paint,only real resto that was done,chroming was done at Wright Custom Chrome Grafton Ohio. New reproduction Stromberg from Uncle Max not Speedway China one. Skip Haney water pumps. Car gets to 75 MPH and cruses easily there. Ford script whitewalls ,not made anymore ,spare never used others mayby 3,000 miles or so on them. Rear floormat behind seat is original from factory front was replaced,all upholstery and woodgrain original. So much more I could ad like Hunley Acuff running boards rubber on original steel,not glued on but molded like originals. special 1937-1941 distributor for advanced curve setup by guy who used to write electronic articles in V* Times,cannot remember his name now,spare dist also goes with it.Lots of other pictures but having trouble loading them wanted to show orinal speedometer with the actual miles on it.Got a service station lube sticker I took of door jamb 22,445 miles date 6-21-66.
